Terms

Terms for a fair reading platform.

These terms describe how readers may use Fictavia, how premium access works, and how we protect stories, creators, and the reading experience.

Using Fictavia

Fictavia provides access to original or authorized serial fiction, discovery pages, reader accounts, and membership features. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial reading and account management. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Free previews and membership

Opening chapters and selected public pages may be available for free. A paid membership (US$9.90/month) unlocks premium chapters across the full catalog while the membership is active. Membership pricing, renewal frequency, taxes, cancellation flow, and refund rules should be shown before checkout. Premium access is personal and cannot be transferred, resold, shared at scale, or used to build competing datasets.

Story and platform content

Stories, covers, summaries, metadata, page design, logos, and platform materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, Fictavia grants readers a limited, revocable, personal license to read available content through the service. You may not copy, scrape, crawl, archive, redistribute, sell, translate, train models on, or publicly repost chapters or substantial site materials without permission.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass paywalls, abuse authentication, overload infrastructure, reverse engineer private APIs, remove rights notices, or use automation to extract premium chapters. Do not submit support requests, account data, or community content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or harmful to the service or other readers.

Catalog, schedules, and changes

Serial fiction changes over time. Chapter schedules, availability, completion status, collections, rankings, and catalog placement may change. We try to make status and access level clear before a reader commits time or money. If material membership terms change, Fictavia should communicate the change before it affects existing paid access whenever practical.

Third-party services

Fictavia may rely on hosting, database, authentication, payment, analytics, email, and support providers. Their own terms may apply when you interact with checkout, emails, or embedded services. We are not responsible for third-party sites that are linked from Fictavia but not controlled by Fictavia.

Disclaimers and limits

Fictavia is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep reading access reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free pages, or permanent availability of every title. To the extent allowed by law, Fictavia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
